“Come on Lee we are the team”

Today we had cross country, I didn’t come any place but not last which is good, Last year I came about 3rd last. We had to run 3kms this year.

But first off we sang our house colour chants. Lee’s is ” Come on Lee we are the team,we’ve got talent and we’ve got speed, we’ve got spirt and we’ve got game, to have fun is our aim, Lee is every where you look, we’re so hot your gonna cook let’s get down and give us a beat, let’s get down and give us a beat, (we clap a heap) go Lee.”

It was a fun day overall. But I’m very tired.

Today we had a our grade 4 earth expo our topic was earth I chose Volcanoes. I enjoyed explaining about Volcanoes. My mum and dad came so did other parents and the grade 3s. It went from 12 to 1:15. We did it because we wanted to show and explain about our topic.

Guess what I learnt to code yay and here are some things that I learnt…

I learnt that Coding-  Means writing the lines in a program.Programmer- A person who writes computer code and programs, Debugging-Means to take errors (mistakes) out of a program, Loop-A part of a program that that repeats over and over and over again, Algorithm-a set of steps that are followed IN ORDER to solve a problem.

Two things that I learnt was, some games are harder then others and it is pretty hard to code.

Here is my introductory paragraph to my information report…

Today we are learning about Valcanoes also I’m Tahlia. We will be learning about why lava is so hot. How are they caused and lots of other interesting facts. So let’s get into it.

Today 11/11/16  we made poppies for Remembrance day. It was fun. It took us from end of snack to the start of lunch. We also had a minute of silence.

 

Conner is blind,he can’t tell the difference between $10 notes and $20 notes and other notes. So he took action, he started an online Petition about having tactile bank notes and he got 57,000 signatures.

People in the Reserve bank made Tactile bank notes so that blind people can read the bank notes with their fingers. So now blind people can tell the difference to all the bank notes.

We met a nice lady Called Kira she talked to us about cyber safety.
1. Make sure I have the private settings on musical.ly
2. Check i’m old enough to be on this game
3. That check your private settings every three months
We also found out that she can turn into creepy Kirra. She can go knock on someone’s door and talk to them about their whole life and they don’t know who it is, and she would of got all the information of social media. She said this because you can find out about a person on Facebook or any social media sites if they are not careful.

When I get home I will check my privacy settings on musical.ly.

Don’t eat fatty foods eat healthy.

This is my meal for dinner it has fruit, vegetables, healthily protein and whole grains. Yum!!!

If you eat fatty foods it can make you sick ,tired and can sometimes make you have cancer. Also if you had hardly any food in the day and you go to play a sport and you will feel really tired.
